VTA member and former VRC chairman Robin Williams celebrated the publication of her award-winning novel, “The Key to the Quarter Pole” in April with a crowd of more than 125 horsemen and friends at the Deep Run Hunt Club. Set on the backstretch at Colonial Downs, the book tells a rollicking story of colorful characters all revolving around a free-spirited Louisa Ferncliff as she trains her last, best horse. Ferris Allen, Graham Motion, Edgar Prado and others make cameo appearances. D.G.
