Lenstar, a 2 year old colt trained by Nick Zito and bred by the Lazy Lane Farms, will vie in a $93,000 maiden special weight event (Race 1). And Skipalute, a 4 year old filly bred by Morgans Ford Farm, is in a $95,000 allowance (Race 4).
The marathon 13 race program begins at 11:35 AM. Virginia residents can bet the action via TVG.com, XPressBet.com and TwinSpires.com.
Harness fans have an enticing Saturday as well with top flight racing at Yonkers. A series of $40,000 elimination divisions for both the Yonkers Trot (3 year old trot) and Messenger Pace (3 year old open pace) will be contested. The $500,000 final for both will go to post the following Saturday, September 3rd.
Have a great and profitable Saturday!
