The next round of $75,000 Virginia-bred stakes races is this Sunday, September 23rd, at Laurel Park. Nominations are in as follows: Oakley (18), Jamestown (27), Punch Line (18), Bert Allen (24) and Brookmeade (14). 2017 Bert Allen Stakes winner Special Envoy has nominated again. The 7 year old Stroll gelding was bred by Mr. & Mrs. Bertram Firestone and enters Sunday’s stakes with a bankroll of $304,500.
