Welcome to the Virginia Thoroughbred Association!

The purpose of the Virginia Thoroughbred Association (VTA) is to promote the Thoroughbred horse in the Commonwealth and to serve as an advocate for its contributions to the state's agribusiness economy, as well as to the racing and breeding industry.
